Joe-
I have owned many “luxury” cars mostly Cadillac’s. I was having trouble with my 1997 Cadillac STS, it was a beautiful car, but seemed to be in the shop more often than not. I also had a Mercedes 500SEL, which also gave me more problems than it was worth so I traded it for the Cadillac.
A customer showed me his Lexus, the following day I went and look at and bought a Lexus ES. I do believe it was one of the first cars sold at the “new” Lexus dealership on Mill. This car was wonderful, I was really impressed with the service department. For the first time we owned a car we look forward to having it serviced, I always received the “Royal” treatment.
After a few years with my wonderful ES I had the opportunity to purchase a real dream car, a Lexus LS 430 fully loaded, the deluxe edition. This car gets unbelievable gas mileage, over the High Sierra’s I average 24 to 25 MPG. That is with a V8. I won’t even tell you all the problems we had with my wife’s minivan, it had 6 cylinders and only got 14 MPG. We traded it in at 30,000 miles it was 6 years old, we were having so much trouble with it and it already cost us over 2K in repair. Although my wife wanted a minivan that seated 7 (Grandkids) I could not talk her into to a Lexus, she did get the second best we bought her a new Toyota Sienna.
My Lexus is 4 year old now and the service department still treats me as if I own a brand new Lexus. I have recommended Lexus to many friends and it such a pleasure to recommend a car you’re friend’s thank you for as they love theirs as much as I do mine.
Happy Holidays to everyone at my favorite Lexus dealership,
